Well deserved drink!

Photobucket

Apple Sangria at Apple Bee's.  This drink tasted really good, and was well deserved after the longest week ever!  Husband has been sick all week long to the point of coming home from work, showering, eating soup, taking meds and going straight to bed by 6:30p.m. at the latest.  Leaving me to clean up the kitchen, bathe the baby, feed the baby, clean up the bathroom after baby's bath, clean up cat toliet's and put baby down for the night.  All last week I didn't get to bed any eariler than 11:00 because I wanted to take my shower, and unwind a little as well.

Today when I woke up by the baby's screaming because of the massive pee diaper I have ever had to change.  I realized my husband wasn't home, he left early to get himself some breakfast and didn't bother to bring me anything.  To top it off he leaves me with no car but left the motorcycle.  Yeah, that's going to work with a 1 1/2 year old, thanks for stranding me douche bag!  I see you're feeling much better by some miracle that allowed you to get up at the ass crack of dawn.  Thanks for not staying home to tend to the baby so that maybe I could sleep in a little and get some much needed rest, god forbide I get any sleep.

Thank you for coming back in time to ruin the baby's sleep cycle as you couldn't wait for the baby to take a nap and wake up before draging us all over town, that should make for an interesting tomorrow.  I'm sure the baby will be super crabby.  And P.S. you always bitch about not being the one to drive and when I tell you I'm too tired to drive you get all whiney about how you drive all day and don't want to do it on your days off or it's too dark outside and you can't see through the tinted windows.  :-P

Although you drive me completely insane and gave me a wicked eye twitching spasam thing,  you can actually be fun to be around.  I'd like it if you could be that guy more often and not the mindless dumbass that does shit on purpose to just screw with my head.  We have so much fun together when you're not doing stupid shit to piss me off.  Lets try to get that guy to come around more often for both of our sanity.  Thank you!

Disorderly Conduct

So what do you tell your friend after a night like tonight.  She is an amazing person but when she has a drink she becomes someone else.  Not a mean drunk but rather a sensitive weepy/silly drunk.  This person doesn't know anyone at the poker party that you're invited to and the group needs a sub because one of the regulars can't make it so you ask your pal because it would be cool to have your friend there.

You're not one to watch someone else's liquor because it's not your job and they carpooled with you so no worries about them getting behind the wheel.  But you are humiliated that they are calling people a-holes in a round about way telling certain people over and over that they love them.  Use your cell phone to text their boy friend as they don't have a cell phone at the moment for financial reasons and when you see the texts later you're like f**k I have to text this poor sap back and let him know his girl was drunk and that it's not her phone so that the texting stops before your husband sees and thinks otherwise.  Everyone says they weren't offended and had a great time though. Oye!

After the "party" is over and it's time to go home you worry about them getting sick and puking in your car.  You take a plastic bag or two and have it ready as you drive off with their window down because it's too "hot" in your car when really it's just the booze that has them really warm.  You turn on your gps because you haven't been to your friends new place in a while and it's dark and difficult to find your way out of the little town your in.  They're swearing like a sailor at the gps because they are telling you a story of some kind and the gps is "interrupting" their story, you can't tell what it's about as all the words are slurred together and they're not making any sense what-so-ever.  After what feels like hours (15 minutes) you arrive at their place, they try telling you that they think you're awesome and wonder why you put up with them.  They want to talk to you forever but all you want to do is go home.  So 45 minutes later you get them to get out of the car, you look down at your seat to see what looks like a pee stain and your thought/mantra is over and over I hope that's just bad lighting I hope that's just bad lighting.  When you get out to help them you hear a thump sound and as you make your way around to the other side of the vehicle they are laying on the floor.

Earlier that same day you had done a lot of weight lifting at the gym so your muscles are already sore and tired and it takes every ounce of energy and everything you have to lift them up when you do you are now practically carrying them to the door to their house thinking and hoping to not get robbed, murdered, or raped because you are in ghetto-ville.  They ring the door bell and their roomate whom is older than dirt answers in their old man boxers and that's it with a hard on (you're pretty sure he was watching porn), being that you've had enough you toss her at him and say good night and run like fucking hell hoping your car hasn't been jacked.  To top off your night, when you get home you realize that they did pee in your car, new car at that as it's barely a year old.  So how the f**k do you explain the pee to your husband?  And it hits you, so THIS is why I dislike going to bars and being around those that are freakin hammered out of their mind!

Gym Crazyness

So I have been going to the gym now for at least a month.  And while it's been fun going back to get in shape and have a little me time, I can't help but wonder what people are thinking.  I do not go to the gym at the same time every day so I get the opportunity to see a variety of people, not that, that is my resason for going.  Mainly I go when I get a moment away from the almost 2 year old little monkey.

I LOVE going when it's early and hardly anyone is there because then everything is availalble and there is little distraction.  During the rest of the day it's fairly busy and can be distracting with those meat heads that think throwing their entire body into the weights instead of just using the muscle group that you're suspposed to be using on a machine or the free weights while loudly grunting  is just plain silly and makes me want to laugh.  Then you have little miss perfect walk in with her fake boobs/no bra shit load of make-up parading around in little to nothing flirting with the meat heads.  It's not studio 54, hit the weights, a treadmil, or other exercise machine and work out or go back to working your corner, geez!

The other down fall to working out at the gym when it's busy is having some lunk head telling you that you're lifting incorrectly.  I don't know what exactly the machine is called but it's the one where you're in a sitting position doing leg presses.  He was trying to tell me that I wanted to lock out my knees to get the benefit of lifting the weights.  I may not be a weight lifter, personal trainer, etc but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that if you lock out your knees with that kind of weight you could potentially screw up your knees and or injure yourself pretty good.  Not that I'm one to give advice but I did see an older man running on the treadmil at full speed and then he'd hop onto the sides of the moving belt when he'd get winded and needed a break from the running.  My personal opinion and thought was, why not just slow the belt down manually with the buttons like youre supposed to do to avoid I don't know, falling on your face.  Eventually I had to stop my machine and move on to something else, I didn't want to witness the dumb-ass take a header.  By the way what is up with the men that come in sees all of the treadmils that are available and they have to take a treadmil right next to you, it's creepy and makes me feel more self conscience.  Also what does one say when someone that just starts working out on a treamil next to you says, "You're leaving so soon?  But I just got here, beautiful!"  I would never believe anyone would say that to me but being I was the only one around I knew he was talking to me,  all I could say was, "yup, my hubby is waiting for me." then I pretty much ran like hell and forgot my sweat towel.

Hygeine in general, if you wipe down the machine you have just used take the sanitary wipe with you and toss it in the trash, don't wad it up and stick it in a cup holder or somewhere else where another person is likely to stick their hands or place their belongings in, that's just nasty!  And please for the love of god wipe down the weight machines after you've left your sweat imprints on them it's just common decency.

Tomorrow's workout is a new day, can hardly wait to see what awaits me at the gym tomorrow.  It's almost as interesting as being able to read a book without intteruption from a crazy almost 2 year old.
